The Home Care Services Branch (HCSB) is responsible for licensing Home Care Organizations including processing applications, receiving and responding to complaints and conducting unannounced visits to ensure compliance.

Veterans Services

Our goal is to respond to all calls and messages within 24 hours. Many services, including submitting Claims for VA Benefits, can be conducted remotely. Walk-ins will be served if possible, but appointments are highly encourage and preferred in order for us to provide the best possible service.

VA Aid and Attendance Special Pension

The VA Aid and Attendance Special Pension is an additional monetary benefit for eligible wartime Veterans and their surviving spouses who require assistance with daily activities or are housebound.

How to Apply

To apply for Aid and Attendance benefits:

  1. Complete VA Form 21-2680: This form, titled Examination for Housebound Status or Permanent Need for Regular Aid and Attendance, should be filled out by a licensed physician.​vba.va.gov+6MyArmyBenefits+6Veterans Affairs+6

     

  2. Gather Supporting Documents: Include any relevant medical records or statements that support your need for Aid and Attendance.​
  3. Submit Your Application:
    • By Mail: Send the completed form and supporting documents to:​
